Tired today,
I'm trying to sort out one of my qualifications that should help me get interpreting work in the future but it's proving to be a pain in the neck.
I have other work to do for my uni course (separate to the qualification mentioned above.)
Today I'm back in work and I've brought in lunch and snacks and am planning on having a no spend day.
Yoga tonight... I haven't been in for about 2 months with one thing or another so I really can't wait. I think I could be doing with that time just for me to relax but without guilt that I should be doing something else or loneliness. Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0 -
Bad day today.
I'm worried about bf. He admitted to me a little while ago that he's going through depression (I've known for months) and was off work with stress last year for a while. He's going to the doctors but that isn't for a couple of weeks yet.
Last night he upset me with what he thought was a jokey text. I emailed him about it this morning and we spoke on the phone after. My email had set him off. I wasn't really talking to him, I was talking to the depression and now he's pulling away again. He doesn't want me to run him home from work today.
I understand it's not me but sometimes it's difficult to not take it personally. It's also hard for me to back off when he's like this, I just want to hug himm and make it all ok again. I know though that the best thing I can do right now though is back right off and let him come back to me again when he's ready.
I'm really worried, and really sad.
All I can really do is keep busy and not spend money (Except on petrol today)Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0 -
FYI: If you remember where the pothole is, go with a ruler and take photos of the width, depth, length etc with the ruler showing the dimensions in the photo. You can then send it off to your local council and quite often get the money back for your new tires. I didn't know that!
Thanks!
Trust me, I know where it is now. And if I'm not quite sure I'll just drive around the area until I get the flashbacks of the whiplash...Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0 -

My Auntie got money back for damage to her car when she got nobbled by a pothole a while back, make sure you get photos just incase the hole conveniently disappears! xx:heartpuls "A wise man should have money in his head, but not in his heart" -Jonathon Swift :heartpuls:beer:0 -
Yay! I've sold on amazon for the first time!
One book - £5.59 earnings. It's not a lot and obviously the postage is still to come off that but it's a start.
I've decided that all sale money (ebay and amazon) will be going straight to the credit card, do not pass go, do not collect £200 (oh, wonder if I have monopoly to sell...)
This didn't start as a money making thing, more a clear out try to own less stuff kind of thing but I can see it will have benefits if I try to put a bit more effort in here.

I went back to take pictures last night and there were workmen at it filling it in. I was too late. But at least it wont happen at the same spot again and I know what to do if it ever happens again, and with these roads that's a strong possibility.
Is it strange that I've added a ruler to my emergency kit in the boot?!Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...0 -

In that case go out and find a different pot hole. As long as it's big enough, who are they to tell you which pot hole did the damage?Current Debt: 0%.Current House Deposit: 7%.0
