    Good morning!

Saw this and thought I would comment.

The nature of cashback is that if and when the merchants pays us the commission for the referral of the sale via our site, we pass it on in the form of cashback to our customer. If we don't receive it we can't pay you and that's why it isn't guaranteed. We'd love this to be different and we work constantly to improve the whole process. In the meantime our terms and conditions in our account holder agreement clearly outline our position in the process.

Over 60% of all payments for valid transactions via Quidco arrive within 60 days though, and of the hundreds of thousands of transactions going through our site every week, only a very tiny proportion are declined. The majority of these are due to customers not clearing their cookies prior to logging in to Quidco or not adhering to the terms and conditions set out by the merchant.

We don't like it either, when cashback is declined or delayed, as we're here to help you earn it! We work under the same constraints as all cashback sites as we are dependant on the processes and time scales of the various other parties involved in the cashback industry. Customers who shop regularly with us save an average of £250 every year but we don't really hear from them very often on forums. They tend to contain posts from those of you who are understandably frustrated and disappointed when all doesn't go according to plan.

@Paul3004 - if we say we've been trying to sort this out for you, then we really have, but if you wish me to look into this as a formal complaint please email me at juliewells@quidco.com.

I won't post on here again because we have our own thread which I read every day. Here's the link:

    Kind regards,
    Jules

I think the problem was solved since their was no further reply to this thread.

I thought I would comment about whether it was possible to sue Quidco/Vodafone. I studied contract law first year in my University. I simply think it was an intended misrepresentation by Quidco and/or Vodafone that deceived you into a contract by offering the £90 cashback. If it was in the case, this would be a ground for you to sue Quidco/Vodafone no matter what Quidco's T&C was.

Why don't people understand that by accepting the terms and conditions when clicking through Quidco that cashback is not guaranteed?

Just greed, greed and more greed.

Based on this, I assume you didn't pass your first year at university!

You would be hard pressed to prove that it was deliberately done to entice people in when they were never intending to pay any cashback.

Since 2009 I started to use Topcashback alot more as I felt that not only did my purchases track they would be paid too.
Out of the last six Quidco transactions four were headaches and I had to chase up the transactions.(some on mum's account)
I would echo what 'patchwork cat' has said.
I recently went back to Quidco to do a purchase(as Topcashback did not list that retailer)and as I always clear my cookies the retailer later declined the cashback.Quidco are looking into this.

Quidco are useful to cashback compare with Topcashback but as TB give me a bonus extra % cashback on top I tend to use them.TB will also price match the cashback.Just claim

Maybe just bad luck in five transactions now

i've used quidco for over four years now and only once have i had a problem of which quidco dealt with and to my benefit. one of the main problems people have for items not being tracked is usually they have already looked at the item before going through the quidco site. if you do this then you need to clear your cookies first or it may not be tracked.

quidco does also have a disclaimer on their site and do say that they cannot be held responsible for none payment from merchants. if the money is not paid to them, how can you expect it to be paid to you!

oh and by the way, i've earned over £955 in the time that i have been using quidco and had absolutely no problems getting paid.......thanks quidco

So the one time it didn't go through I must assume you didn't use them properly.
