Someone a while back asked whether there was an opportunity to have a penpal sort of correspondence with a sick child. Although I have not fully investigated this one, here's a website run along similar lines as Post Pals. http://www.makeachildsmile.org/ It's US based and it may just be worth contacting the organisation to see whether a penpal opportunity exists.
