try bestbuys their customer service is much better and there is 15% cash back at quidco. you might not get the exact same machine as at currys as often they are made for them but just check the spec.0

what are you most important things in a printer?
initial cost?
running cost?
photos?
speed?
i am personally a fan of canon printers because of the quality of photos they (generally) print, this being said they are not that cheap for replacement inks
at mo I've got Dell AIO 922 but its knackered - I don't need a photocopier option just general printing but I occassionaly print photos - but don't want to spend a fortune on ink cartridges0 -
Have you considered buying your laptop directly from Dell?

With regards to this ill just give this example.
Wifes laptop power supply went down monday.
Im savvy enough to know not to, but as there near work i popped in maplin and currys.Maplin had a variable one out of stock at £40 and one available at £50 in stock.Pc world/currys its a megastore so is both here had 2 both variable one £50 and one at £75 EEK.
Knowing i could do better latter that evening i came home goggled it.Granted its not variable but it is the exact one she had so a striaght replacement From an amazon supplier £12 and 50P delivered.0 -
Don't touch PCW, Dixons or Currys with a barge pole. They have a very poor reputation with regards customer focus and service. There was a BBC Watchdog report last year with regards the appalling service provided by the PCW Tech guys. It was quite amusing to watch but no so amusing if you were one of the customers effected.
My advise is to try Staples. They have a very good customer ethos, where the customer is always right. It is a bit like M&S; although for some strange reason, Staples don't promote it. If you get any probs after your purchase, they will try to fix it without any arguments and, if they can't, they will probably offer you a free replacement.
I had a good experience last year at Staples. I bought a USB hub for £6. It lasted for 18 months. Took it back to my local store to complain politely with my receipt. Unfortunately, the shop assistant forgot abouth the Staples ethos and refused to exchange it. I escalated and complained to their CEO. To cut a long story short, they gave me a better & more expensive hub replacement and also gave me £50 in vouchers as compensation.
I always try to shop at Staples now.
Good luck and hope this helps.0 -
Currys, because we're much nicer
Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
