mobilephoneshop. o2 contract. cashback query

I need some advice please and hope someone can help.
My o2 phone purchased oct 4th via quico and mobilephone shop was incorrectly billed with an extra 4.26 a month. I did not request or have any written details of this additional charge. o2 have now advised the following:
"I am sorry you were not advised about the 100 message Bolt on which has been added to your account.

The Bolt on was added at the time your account was activated.

As you are not using this Bolt on, I have removed it from your account. I have also credited £10 back to your account for the charge on your last two bills.

If you would like any extra services in the future please do not hesitate to contact us back.

Once again I am sorry for any inconvenience which may have been caused."

My concern is. Will this stop quidco and mobilephoneshop cashack?
Advice and suggestions what is best action to take will be appreciated.

    It shouldn't affect quidco cashback.

    It will ONLY affect mobileshop cashback IF it was a compulsory part of your original price plan. These things are usually optional extras so i doubt it will affect it.
  • Thanks Medic. It wasn't part of original plan. there was no mention of it in the contract from O2 (UK) Ltd. I have never asked for it. Hopefully all will be ok.

    I'd agree with medic - just add that they (MS) tick the middle text bundle option by default.
    Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers :eek: )!

    but do be prepared to wait quite a while before you get your quidco cashback. I had 2 mobileshop purchases being tracked by quidco and they were due to pay up in September and October respectively. Come October both have been delayed until November and December and to be quite honest with the way that mobilshop have been delaying their own cashback payments recently I'm not too optimistic about quidco being able to pay me this year at all.

    Thank you Thor. We have two phones, one quidco due in December and one in January. I am hoping all mobileshop cashback is processed and paid. Preferably on time or with only short delays.
