Thanks for that link, Lynsey.
Opens up a new world and it completely baffles me how what should be a simple transaction via Quidco could result in such a monumental number of cockups.
It couldn't really be simpler as a business model for the affiliates and, if they are inefficient, then why do they need to exist at all????0 -

To line their own pockets.
Do you remember when Quidco used to promote being a co-operative and that they "put the members first"??
They always put themselves first and then the merchants that made them money..........the members were NEVER first. Nice to actually see them remove that statemement, though it did cause embarrassment, so maybe why??

To be fair, for a time a couple fo years ago i believe they DID put their members first; as with many organisations of all types, once they became too large and too successful they decided to abandon that and, as you quite rightly state, now ALWAYS put THEMSELVES first and don't give a passing thought to their members - yet they always blow their own trumpet about doing just that. Marketing hype is absolutely no substitute for for customer care and with some other cashback sites going bust it's a lesson they have ignored at their peril.0
