One voice in the crowd...how do you mean? don't wait to try for a baby? or it might take alot longer than we think? when i am unhappy at work i try not to link having a baby to getting out there, sometimes i think i should just get out of there, try to get a workplace where i am happy, in time to try. but then it all seems too much disruption before our plans sometimes......can't win:rotfl:Debt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

Try when you want to. You might be lucky that it's quickly but until trying to get pregnant, I didn't realise it would only happen in such a small window in the month...it looks so easy on telly and celebs. They want it, it happens. Oh, and it can take your body a while to get used to being off the pill. I did think that the minute you miss a pill you're gonna get caught until you actually stop and for me it took waayyyy longer than that!

I've been married over 3 years (been together 16) and must say I do feel mature to be embarking on bubsland! You've been together a good time too and for me getting married made me even more content in our already happy relationship.
I echo Bufger in the enjoy wedded bliss!
Best of luck to you and go for it when you're ready. Happy wedding, honeymoon and life x0 -
Oh the broodiness. That's probably the worst bit! Good luck and enjoy the peace you have now

I know how you feel LegalBlonde. OH is my partner, we aren't married but have been together nearly 4 years, living together nearly all that time!
I have only been in this job since July 2010 but we have decided to go for it as otherwise there are 101 reasons to put off starting. OH is also 40 this year and he feels that he would like a child sooner rather than later (I am 34 next week too).
In an ideal world I think - 'i'll try to get 2 years expereince under my belt at work' or 'lets wait until we move house' for example. However waiting actually doesn't make any difference now to be honest and let's face it we aren't getting any younger.0 -

And why is that? .My daughters are my world0 -
Hello,
I am in the same situation as you and can't decide what to do. We are getting married at the end of next month and really want to start trying for a baby asap!
I have been thinking of stopping my pill this month but am not sure what to do as like other have said earlier your period can be irratic when you first come off the pill and don't want my wedding night and honeymoon to be interupted
Also we are flying to the US for our honeymoon and I am a nervousz flyer and usually take diazepam which I wouldn't be able to if I had gotten pregnant by then.
I know the sensible solution would be to keep taking the pill until at least the wedding day but I so badly want to get started!
Oh decisions, decisions!
