There are alot of people having babies on this board at the moment. Congratulations to all involved.
But boo hoo I want a baby
Have no kids, we are getting married in July, never tried before or had a scare or anything, am on the pill and planning on stopping around time of wedding or a month before.
Have a really "good" job but I get really stressed out by it and not sure it is where I want to be. Just trying to hold out there so I can get SMP or even MA.....wish me luck, wedding is July so I reckon I will still be there around this time next year.....
Sorry for the random rant, just one of those days.

Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding. Hope you have a very special day. Good luck with any plans to become parents too.
In the meantime make the most of your kid free days, life is never quite the same again once they arrive.0 -
Leave it til after the wedding to stop your pill, periods can be erratic when coming off it and you don't want it happening on your wedding weekend I expect

I would agree make the most of your baby-free days! And being pregnant can make you feel rubbish plus you don't want to miss out on your wedding champers! I know quite a few folks who got pregnant on their honeymoon. Good luck!Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you are usually right.0

Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding! I hope the plans are coming along well

I'm going to echo what everyone else has said and say make the most of this time, you'll never ever get it back once you've had babies. As wonderful as they are it's just not the same, and you will be forever doing laundry.
I was pregnant at my wedding last year, it was fine, but I would have liked to have been able to have a little more to drink than I did. Oh well!5:2 diet devotee, frugal recipe creator, pretty excellent cook, pretty terrible housewife.0 -

theres no point planning as it will never happen the way you want/plan,
just go for what you want.0 -
Advice from a new dad: ENJOY IT WHILST YOU CAN!! Its great having a baby but its the hardest work ive ever done! I actually come to work (what i thought before was a stressful job) for a nice break.
I would seriously enjoy being married for a year or 2 and strengthen your relationship alot before having a child. It does put a strain on everything as both partners get tired and irritable during the first 6 weeks and if you dont watch out then you could end up at each others throats. A good stable relationship thats talked through it all beforehand shouldnt have any problems.
Good luck in whatever you decide. Seriously consider enjoying your time freshly married for a while first though
