2 wireless N USB dongles bought in store - can I return?

Hi all

I bought 2 wireless N USB dongles in store from PC World (reserved online, collected in store) to go with my new wireless N router. However, the performance of these wireless N dongles leaves a lot to be desired, with video streaming being slow and choppy and in some cases the dongles simply stop working until they are removed and reinserted (latest drivers from the Linksys website that claims to fix this are installed).

Frankly the whole thing seems to be an exercise in frustration, and I'd like to return the 2 dongles to PC World for a refund if I can.

Does anyone know if I'll be able to do this?

Many thanks.

Michael.

Have you made sure the router is actually selected to use WIFI N rather than at auto select.

Repair or replacement are the first options you have to accept for faulty goods, a refund will be a lot harder, especially from PCW.
Why oh why buy from them?

Yeah it's an Apple Airport Extreme. I tried both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands without much success.

Thanks all! I guess Currys/PC World need to make sure I have a working product at the end of the day, so if I have a problem I guess they have to do something to help me! I've done everything I can at my end (tried different USB ports, updating all drivers, installed all updates etc).
