help please with broken mobile phone
I took on an 18 month contract for my teenage son with T-mobile and he has a Blackberry Pearl.
The contract started in September and the phone has a 1 year guarantee, the phone stopped charging about 2 weeks ago and was sent away for a repair. The little bit on the side where you plug in the charger was loose and drops out a little bit some of the time.
I received a call today saying that the phone can't be repaired as it has been dropped, DS says it has never been dropped and to be honest I do believe him.
The phone is not insured as I wouldn't pay for the insurance and he wouldn't either as he gets a lot of pocket money from our family.
I am going in to see T-Mobile tomorrow as they want to discuss my options can anyone advise do I have any options other than having to purchase a new phone?
Thanks

Could always try a third party repair, there's little phone shops dotted about all over the place.0
