Internet on an xbox 360?

Is it possible to view internet pages on an xbox?

I would like to do it in my son's bedroom if possible.

What would I need, and is there any 'parent guard' possible?

Microsoft decided to restrict internet access.

You can go online with the PS3 although it isn't really an easy or fun experience.
  • MS dont give anything for free on xbox360. Wont allow iplayer unless they can charge, wont allow net access

Well .. it isn't that they want to charge for the iPlayer but they want people to have an xBox gold subscription. And as that goes against the charter of the BBC it is the BBC that wont allow it.
  • Yes indeed there is away around it, I haven't tried it myself but heard it does work it plays 40d and 5 player amongst others

You can view webpages with a Wii and use BBC iplayer. Didn't know it was like that with an xbox.
  • Yes and its all free on wii although iplayer is low quality is acceptable and most of all free. Mind you they did charge at one time for Opera but that was over a year ago

Shame MS cant give a few things for free tight gits.

    Interesting...

How does the XBox 360 wipe the floor with the PS3?

I have both so I would like to know which one I should be getting rid of without delay......!
