:beer:Hi all
Great to see such a busy thread. 3 pages..wow and on a school day too:D
Pity about the forum being down during daylight hours..
Today has been a quiet day working at home ( and DD1 sick but luckily she watched TV literally all day so all was achieveable) but:
- paid vet bill..for shaving our poor cat..he looks very sad..if the bill was based on quantity of fur removed we have done pretty well! But apart from that a NSD..so a LSD...woo hoo
- checked online banking. They want to reduce our OD. Now that's quite a
good idea but 1) I have lots of work expenses etc and a time lag in getting paid back so like to have the buffer and 2) is this cos for some reason our
credit rating has diminished? What does anyone else think?
- HM dinner from freezer. Yum if I say so myself. Meat today but for 2 days
previous was bean stew and lentil curry. Think we will try and not have meat
every day. In winter it's becoming the default option but for all sorts of
reasons, health, environment as well as cost think we should be having MF and diary free(er) ( latter as i love cheese- its my favourite food!) days every
week.
- ordered a reduced slow cooker from Natural Coll*ction sale last night. Have wanted one for ages but OH not keen...but am dead excited as think it will
make cooking in evenings much easier.. And with both working outside home we are pretty stressed and tired in eves but still like to pile on the pressure by cooking from scratch..:rotfl:
Think that's it. Have a good eve folks. Won't be online for a few days as away for work...

OOOOO didn't like to being a newbie, but I will do tomorrow if I'm here before you. Just cut and paste the previous days first post I presume...moneypenny2k wrote: »OOOOOOO thanks DNMS, been sat in front of the laptop fingers itching to post for the day.
Today I will
Check bank - done, refund of almost £12 - goes to my cushion fund that is the £500 I like to keep in instant access as a cushion against life.
Check surveys - screened out
Charge the phone at work done
Have a low spend day - petrol to get me to the end of the week and my salsa lesson yep £26 spent
Take cereal bar for break and leftover curry for lunch done
Free tea at work done
I got my insurance sorted out yesterday, apparently I havn't lost my ncb so my insurance renewal will be £500 ish rather than £1500 How on earth do they justify the difference?:eek::eek:
Have a good day all
Will read the thread properly later
Night night all0
