My pizza turned up cold and I'm still waiting for a new one!!

I ordered from Perfect Pizza at 20.50 online and it didn't show until 10.00!!
Then I had to ring for a replacement straight away as it was stone cold!!!
I had a long day at uni today and I didn't get in till late. I did the kids some omelettes but was to knackerd to do anyhing for myself and didn't feel like eating then.
So when I did get hungry thought I'd treat myself and now what happens - midnight - no pizza and £13 down the flaming toilet!!!
I know I shouldn't be upset over a stupid pizza but feel so tired and hungry and just want to cry now
I don't normally splash out but I was just so tired and hunmgy and nopw tried to call them back again and they're closed:mad:

I wouldn't phone again. I'd write to the manager and explain exactly what happened, request a refund and some form of compensation. Be polite and stick to the facts, and you should see a result. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

Honestly,
You have tried the sensible thing to fix the problem (the phone call) and quite reasonably expected it to be remedied. Clearly that hasn't happened - and for whatever reason they did not contact you or whatever to say they were sorry but unable to meet your requirements and provide the required refund.
Write a letter to their head office. I only found an email contact sheet, which personally I wouldn't use, but I am sure a brief dig in the companies house database will reveal a registered office for them.
I know it doesn't solve your food need now - but a calmly written letter explaining exactly what you did, what the providing store did, what you then did, etc. and finally pointing out that you expect a full refund of your money, plus at least a discounted pizza or two in the future as a reasonable way of suggesting you should not only ever use their company again, but shouldn't also tell everyone you know how bad their service sometimes is.0 -
Can't phone again - they're closed - lol.
I am going down to the shop tomorrow with kids in tow and we're not going to budge (nicely of course) until someone does something about it!!!
I've emailed them on their website and if they don't sort something out then I'm going to write a letter (recorded) to their HO.
Sooo peed off - currently have the thing in my oven right now - i sohouild have guessed the replacement wouldn't turn up when they suggested re-heating it after the 2nd or 3rd phone call. If I wanted re-heated pizza, I'd have done that straight away - I wanted hot pizza straight out the box!!!!Noli nothis permittere te terere

Don't got to a local Chinese takeaway either.
They pushed a leaflet through the door, so we thought we'd give them a try last night. We were all starving so we were straight on the phone when they opened at 5.30pm, and were told the meal would be with us within 30 mins. Got to 6.15pm and it hadn't arrived, so hubby called back. They said it was going out next. Waited till 6.45pm and called back, and was told it was on it's way (we live 5 mins away).
It hadn't arrived by 7pm so hubby called to cancel the meal and rang the local pizza shop, which is 2 mins walk away. He knows them and told them why we were starving, so they said they would do our pizzas straight away. Hubby walked round and collected them.
We were tucking into the pizza's when the doorbell rang at 7.45pm and it was the chinese meal, and the woman got all stroppy because we refused to pay for it and told her to take it back.
Will not use that Chinese again :mad:Here I go again on my own....0 -
We bought a pizza from Pizza Hut and had a similar experience. Ordered the food, waited an hour and half for delivery. Pizza was only lukewarm but we were starving so took it. I called them and they said I could have a free pizza next time. We aren't bothering again though.0
