Help! I'm confused about which broadband provider will be best?

Hi everyone, my first post on here so please be gentle with me!
Have just recently moved house after 6 1/2 years fault free service with Sky for TV, phone calls & broadband :T
Now we have transferred our TV package to Sky (got a good deal for free Sky+HD box & free installation) but they are unable to provide braodband unless we pay an extra £17.50 per month for the internet alone and this service would actually be rented from BT I think.
So, after reading lots of recommendations about SamKnows on here, the search gives the following BB providers:
However, there is another service on your phone line (e.g. ADSL, LLU, DACS, etc) that would prevent you from ordering a new ADSL connection.
The following services are available in your location:
As an Orange mobile customer & I have just agreed to go with Orange for their unlimited anytime calls & BB package with line rental for a total of £21.50 per month.
Then I did some more research on here and the general opinion seems to be that Orange service is poor to say the least!
So with the available providers for my area, who would you recommend to get me back on to the internet for a good price with good service or should I stay with the Orange offer?
