Monlou, just a thought, are you with any union at all
My hubby continued with the union even though he was no longer employed by the steelplant anymore as it went into administration, but he continued to stick with his union, still with them now, if so they may offer these services of setting up a solicitor, or otherwise I am aware the CAB may have a free one at least once a month, contact your local one and see what they say if you want to, good luck.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

no I am any with any union unfortunately
former employer was a sole trader its been an absolute nightmare as I had to go to court and the Nationwide I think are in the process of applying a charging order to my house but I have not had written confirmation of this. I thought there may have been a small chance of making a claim as I have been out of work for two years. but maybe notThanks for this dunstonh.

Arh right, sorry about that.
Contact your local CAB then and maybe they will advise if they have a free solicitor every month, then make an appointment, they should be able to help.
There is also such thing as something like legal aid, you may be entitled to, look into this as well.;)
