Megashopbot issues

I have recently developed issues with the sites Megashopbot.

When the new window opens everything seems fine but when i choose whatever it is i am searching for and click 'compare' nothing happens at all and at the bottom of the window it says 'error on page'.

I also notice that the two boxes for entering the product always show 'Author' and 'Title' (as if one is searching for a book) and 'Author' and 'title' always remains even if i am searching for perfumes/microwaves etc.

There is a malfunction somewhere and i guess its my PC as nobody else seems to jhave this issue which is why i have posed the question to any techie types.

I use Internet Explorer and AVG.I have no other issues with other tools on the site.

Thanks for any ideas.

  • Thanks.
Amazing,it worked with Chrome! Now why is that?

While we are at it,i cant seem to get on with Chrome.I see that my bookmarks are on the right which takes getting used to and very few of my favourites have small icons adjacent which makes it easier to find a favourite. Also it would be nice to have a 'history' tab to eliminate if needed any history quickly for instance,

Also there is no bar across the top showing 'File Edit View Favourites Tools Help' which i find very useful.I find tools very useful for internet options etc....

Yes,i am a technophobe and i am sure chrome is superior but it seem it will take some getting used to and i guess one is more comfortable with what one is used to and i feel out of my comfort zone with this.If you see what i mean?

IMO IE is rubbish. Kept putting my laptop offline. Since using FF no problems.
