I need to ring and cancel o2 hame broadband.
I dont require another broadband in the near future.
Does i need to get a mac code off them or is that just used as a method of cancelling when changing providers as with mobile phones?
Thanks

No you don't need to ask for a MAC, they are only valid for a limited time.
You'll just be liable for the usual termination feee, around £25 if I recall. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Ok iv'e cancelled they said there was no termination fee because i was out of contract.
It did suprise me though when they asked me to send back all of there equipment or pay £50. Not that it bothers me it but would have been nice as a back up0 -
That is a surprise, I always thought that the modem/router was yours to keep, especially as you were out of contract. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

And being out of your minimum term contract will not normally get you off paying the cease charge either. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
