An eternity ring is a great idea... my wife has been wanting one for ages! It has to be a specific one she has seen though... dont suppose I could keep it a surprise! lol0

if she has had a tough pregnancy how about a spa day - just some hours away that she can be pampered and not have to worry about the little man so she can be 'me' instead of 'mum'Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

or once baby has been born, suggest going out for lunch or something and then take her to the jewellers to pick the ring up.0 -
Ive just been bought an engagement ring and I liked some of the eternity style ones. The jeweller told us that traditionallly an eternity ring is given on the birth of the first child. I thought that was a great idea to plant in my finacee's head!0

Thanks for the suggestions, I bought her a mini spa day and a baby changing bag for Christmas!
Looks like jewellery is the winner0 -
A half Eternity Ring (Eternity is a loooong time).0

If it has been a while since the wedding, than an eternity ring would definitely be a winner (especially so for me, I have had two babies and despite hints haven't had one!)
I agree with the charm bracelet. If you aren't too keen on the silver variety of Pandora, you could look at Trollbeads.

Again the good old charm bracelet, but there are lovely glass beads. I have said to my husband that I would love one of these bracelets for my birthday and the children can then go into the shop each birthday and choose a charm glass bead to go on it. It will make it really special to look back on.0 -
My husband bought me a locket so that I could put a lock of the baby's hair in it from his first haircut

Which I did!"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
Seriously, she's going to be so hungry after she's had the baby you'd probably get away with getting her a cheese sandwich

Failing that, jewellery's always nicePaying off CC in 2011 £2100/£1692

God bless you and your family, how lovely.
Book her into the hairdressers for the works and hold the baby while she has it done? (the hair I mean, not the baby). Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
