Stuff the mortgage - this is far more important stuff. Hope everything goes well and that you keep us informed in the coming weeks and months...

Only 2 tests - I think Mrs Bliss did at least 5 tests. First to confirm pregnancy and a further four to take the (nice) shock out of it...

    FB.
Thanks FB. We were actually very reserved. We waited a couple of days before taking the test. That result was so light we could hardly see it so we waited another 3 days before taking a second. What can I say; at £5+ a test I wanted to make sure I could read the result.

Hi Peonie, de lurking to say take care and listen to your body. Its really easy to stop listening as life gets in the way, so sit and watch the tomatoes growing :)

    Best wishes Tilly

Thanks Tilly and hi. I've had a little bit of related pain, nothing too bad that I can't cope with. I decided not to take paracetamol as I wanted to do just that; listen to my body so I knew if something was wrong.

Right, I had better go and water the veg. See you all again soon.

Hi everyone, I'm writing to say we have some sad news. We lost our little pea. I am doing well and keeping my chin up.

In the last few days I've read a lot about miscarriages and why they happen in early pregnancies. It's helped me to understand why what's happened and to come to terms with it quicker than I thought I would.

I have to say the NHS staff were amazing. They were understanding and comforting at a horrible time.

I'll do a financial and house improvement update soon.

    Peonie.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
