    Thanks everyone.

The last two weeks seem like they went by very slowly, is this what the next few months are going to be like?

Well, I've actually had my first scan and got to see my little yolk sac. On Friday I had a scare, I started to spot so we spent the evening at the hospital. Unfortunately I've continued to spot since but as long as it does not become heavy hopefully we'll be OK. I need to go for another scan in two weeks.

Yes, Bud is lovely while he or she growing. I have been thinking about MSE names for when the little one is here. Possibly Leaf for a boy and Petal for a girl.

Thanks Newgirly, it definitely helps to know someone else has been through it and it turned out well. At the weekend I definitely had my feet up. The plumber was at the house and he must have thought I'm very lazy.

I shall add my two pence in and say I've had it from both sides - spotting that ended in a Giraffe, and spotting that ended in a m/c before Lumpy was born. It sounds awful, but there isn't anything you can do to sway it; if it's meant to be it's meant to be, and sometimes, sadly, it isn't :(

I been thinking of you a lot since your announcement :) hope you're feeling ok in yourself xx

Thanks Cazzie, I'm sorry to read about your miscarriage. Thanks for thinking about me; that's really sweet.

I have been sleeping a lot lately and that's why I've not been around.

We went for the second scan last week and got to see the heart beat which was amazing. I've got to go back again for a 10 week scan in addition to the 12 week scan. The scan put my due date back a few days but it's still in January.

At the weekend I made an emergency trip to the shops to buy some new underwear. Sorry if that's too much information but nobody told me these changes would happen so early.

I have been gardening. I'd say 95% of the food seeds I sewed outside in April did not make it. This weekend I planted some more. Last week I planted some tomato plants out and a few days later only the stalks remained. I think the cats ate them. Luckily some tomato plants I thought I had killed revived and they are now planted out and behind a fence of netting. Let's see if you can get to them kitty-cats.

We also played badminton in the garden with the cheap set I bought.

  • Hi Peonie, de lurking to say take care and listen to your body. Its really easy to stop listening as life gets in the way, so sit and watch the tomatoes growing :)

    Best wishes Tilly
