This deal has been posted a couple of times on the wedding board but is it too good to be true?
I went to the Vizzivo website and the pictures look amazing but if their usual price is £1300+ then surely this is too good to be true at £399??
Thoughts??

I would check the fine details and make them put in writing that for £399 you get exactly the same quality and detail package that is advertised for more. Sometimes they offer deals like this but use lower quality stuff or less services. Wise to be cautious but probably a bargain if handled well and you keep on top of them to ensure they do actually include everything.0

Hi Angela, good to hear your planning is going well and is so relaxed! We're doing the church/hotel thing, but OH and I are viewing it as just having a big party with the people we care about. Can't wait!
So, what's the dress like then?0 -
Well it's Friday, and I should have that Friday feeling but it's got lost somewhere!
Tomorrow, I have to go shopping with my sister for her bridesmaid's dress. It's taken ages to be able to get a date when we're both free (see my rant thread lol), and she doesn't really want to go tomorrow but tough.
OH is working tomorrow, which is a pain as he won't be home til about 7pm, then we've got two of his friends coming to visit tomorrow evening and I can't really be bothered! The guys are fine and a good laugh, but there's only so much playstation and talk about motorbikes I can take! Plus our house is a state so I'll have to clean and tidy tomorrow afternoon after going shopping.
Next week should have been a better week, as I'm off work from next Thursday for a long weekend. SIL2B is coming up with her two girls, which I was really looking forward to. Until MIL2B said on the phone last night that she might come up too, as she's not seen us in ages - she was up for a weekend 3 weeks ago.
I get so stressed out by MIL2B, who considers it some sort of tragedy if she doesn't see anyone in the family at least once a week. That's fine for most of her family, they live max 30 mins from her. But me and OH live 2.5 hours away, so she's forever inviting herself up and doesn't seem to realise we can't just take a random day of work just because she wants to visit. I'm the only one with days of next week, OH still has to work, but she thinks he should take days off as she wants to visit!
It just seems really strange for me, coz when I was wee I never lived near my grandparents or cousins (about 3.5 hours away), and was lucky to see them 4 times a year, I just can't figure out this constant need to see everyone all the time!
Sorry for the ranting, I'm away to try and find my Friday feeling the emergency chocolate cupboard in the office!0 -
well today (so far) hasn't been as bad as I thought!
Got my sister her dress (thanks to my lovely mum who is paying for it), OH will be in from work soon (hopefully) and then we are going to the pub after dinner. Happy days!

Glad you got your sister's dress sorted.
Haven't started on my bridesmaids dresses yet. I have one dress in mind for them but will be a bit lost if that doesn't suit them!
As for my wedding related progress this weekend:
-popped in to our local independent jewellers to see if they would be able to make our wedding bands, which they can but didn't give me a price, just that they could do it for our very vague budget...bit more research to do before we commit to a jewellers
-ordered some card samples and some pocket fold 'blanks' to have a play with invites. I am so eager to start printing the invites but we don't actually have a ceremony time agreed yet (despite booking the church in January) and it won't be fixed until the new priest starts in November!
-got a new phone and excitedly downloaded a 'Wedding Countdown' app (294 days until 26th May)
I'm now waiting for the football to finish for the night so I can have the 'let's curl up on the couch and watch tv' day I was promised, although will probably involve me folding more paper cranes (haven't made any progress on them for a few weeks)

Glad to hear you got your sister's dress sorted bride2be. Is your MIL2B coming to see you this weekend? She sounds quite high maintenance!
Clairus, you seem to be making great progress. Though I think it would drive me a little crazy not knowing the ceremony time until November (that's the control freak in me!). I'm also itching to get going with the invitations. I've sorted the design, but have changed my mind from a folded card to having a pocketfold. They just look so classy. PDA seems to be the cheapest from what I've seen. Where are you getting yours from?
Angela, your dress is absolutely gorgeous!! That's the kind of style I wanted when I started looking, though I've ended up going for something lace/beaded instead. I bet you'll look amazing!0 -
 I'm officially a May 2012 bride now- can I play too?
Compared to the rest of you I'm a very disorganised one though as we've only just started booking the venue with 9 months to go :eek:when the first cup of coffee tastes like washing up she knows she's losing it0
