hi all,
I am a T - mobile customer. I went online today to check my unbilled calls. I currently received free x network mobiles, bu notice a mobile number I was charged for. The description stated I it was a international mobile number. I have barred all international and premium numers, so could not understand this.
I telephoned C/S who refunded the cost of the call, and could not provide any information as to why this call was made in the first place.
any suggestions???

Was it an international number or was it a number starting 07 (like a UK mobile number)?
The reason I ask is that some 07 numbers used by those companies who offer cheap international calls are classed as international numbers by the UK operators. My parents bought a SIM to use abroad and when I called them, I was charged (i.e., they weren't included in my free minutes). I called Vodafone and they refunded the cost but reading online it appears that some operators class them as international.0 -

"There are some newer networks whose customers have a telephone number starting with 07, but which aren’t treated as a UK mobile call for the purpose of inclusive allowances. That means that calls to some numbers starting with 07 aren’t treated as UK mobile calls. The numbers include (but are not only) calls to some numbers beginning 07404, 07405, 07417, 07424, 07466, 07609, 07610, 07621, 07682, 07408, 075202, 075594, 075894, 075895, 075896, 075897, 077077, 078228, 078920, 078921, 078931, 079112, 079118, 079788, and 0782210. That means that if you call one of those numbers, that call won’t come out of your inclusive allowance and you’ll be charged your price plan’s rate for a call to a UK mobile. Special Access Numbers also begin with 07, are not included in allowances and are charged as detailed on page 2."0 -

As long as your not dialling intl access numbers which is what the list mentioned above mainly refers to you shouldnt have a problem.0

not quite true ypaymore.
Mobile telephone numbers start with 07 in the uk. If you scroll up, some international mobile numbers are also starting with 07. I dialed a 07 mobile number thinking it was a uk mobile number, but i think the mobile number was a nigerian international mobile number.
If i have barred international numbers from my handset, I should not of been connected in my opinonTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Whilst the UK 07 numbering range covers a multitude of things including UK Mobile Networks, roaming sims, wifi numbers, follow me numbers etc, it does not cover direct dialled Intl Mobile Numbers in anyway.
