Boots 75% off sale - possible date

If you check the thread on the Grabbit board, there are LOADS of people on there who are friends with / are related to / know / ARE Boots staff..... however some of those people say they have had it confirmed as starting tomorrow, many many others say not till next week or even not at all.

As always, the only - ONLY!! - way to know for sure is to check instore!! It's pointless saying "does anyone have insider info" when loads of people with supposed insider info are saying conflicting things anyway. That proves nothing! Just check your local shop tomorrow, and if no joy then check it the end of the week or more likely next Weds!!

I have just re-read the very first page of this thread, dating back to last January and the 2011 sale, and in the first 20 posts alone there was "confirmation" it would be the 2nd Wed in Jan, "confirmation" that there would be no sale at all, "confirmation" that staff don't get told beforehand, "confirmation" that staff were discussing definite date, does all this sound familiar!??!?!

They will probably put the 75% off labels after closing the night before the sale starts, so if the sale section of anyone's local boots is visible from the door it is worth looking in if passing after closing.

heya just popped out side my local boots loads off stuff being put on the shelfs plus my next door naybour works at boots apparontly its tomorrow

So, all the questions about whether anyone knows anyone who works at Boots, and you could have just asked your neighbour!!!

Oh well, we'll know for sure tomorrow - I'm getting quite excited now just to know if it's on or not!

went into my local boots late this evening, just before closing time, to pick up a prescription to see a nice big pile of 75% sale shelving labels behind the till.

I asked the sales assistant if the pile of labels are to be put out tonight, she said yes, because the sale starts tomorrow.

My local store is very small and only had about 5 things on the shelf...... however i think this is a very strong indication that it is gonna be tomorrow!!!

Shame i don't have any money this year to go crazy like before....... but may have a sneaky peak in a big store tomorrow

I'm off to big branch at Braehead, Glasgow tomorrow morning after dropping the kids at school.

I've got prescriptions to pick up and it's my week off from chemo tablets (yeah nice timing).

I'll let you guys know if anything is reduced!!
