Think l would pee myself in the aisle with happiness if they had those in my store :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl: I would probably be so shocked that I'd be standing there with my mouth wide open while someone else stuck it all in their trolley

Just got back from the Aintree store, Liverpool and stock wasnt much good at all. 2 Isles there was one was the thinnest isle ever full of people, in this isle was all of the womans gifts etc LOADS of Ferne boxes that had been opened...
In the second isle they had a few bits of mens stuff and the mugs, photo things and cards etc.

I ended up buying a playboy- New York set for £2.50. Expected it to smell cheap but it is actually really nice! Also while I was there I picked up a couple of packs of nice tags which were just 25p for a pack! And some more gold coins too at 25p a pack you cant not buy them!

-Off topic but taught that I would also mention that I picked up a couple of very nice gift bags from Marks & Spencers, they were smallish tall bags in red with a reindeer on with a large 'goggly' eye that moves. Thaught these were an excellent bargain at just 10p each so I bought the last three on display, just a heads up incase anyone sees them in their local store!

  • as a boots 75% virgin this has all been quite an eye opener!i`ve worked in retail for over 30 years but never realised customers treated the sales like military operations.Lol.reading all the posts the last couple of weeks has been very entertaining and educational.against my better judgement i stayed up all night but failed to get anything online and will defo never do that again.with some trepidation i went to my local blackpool store this morning and was pleasantly surprised, lots of stock and all very polite.so from now on i will be sticking to supporting my fellow sa`s and spending my money in store.
thanks again to everyone who has posted on this thread its been brilliant.
