I hope there is some stuff left in Castle Mall by the time I get there. At this rate there is no way I am going to be able to checkout before I need to catch the bus.0

Just got into the office after shopping at the Reading Broad Street Store. Got there bright and early (8) but couldn't get in as no pharmacist on the premises - arrrgh!! Loads of stuff there and got all I needed. Mostly stuff for mum to give (82, not too steady on her feet, state pension, still wanting to give 'good-looking' presents). Couple of things for me to put away also. Very few people in there when I was there.
To the 2 MSE aficionados also waiting, I was the woman in the mad hat (well, my ears were cold!). I guess you were plunging back in for more later, or moving on to the Oracle.
Thanks to all for entertainment from 5.00am onwards. Kept checking in when getting ready for work etc. All tips were gratefully received.
Better get some work done to pay for all this now! That, and have a well earned, relaxing cup of tea!0 -
