on the other boots thread it says sales start friday 14th???? im thinking boots are trying to through us off the scent lol

The Bullring Boots in Birmingham had SandG hand and heels sets today...strange going on in there as well, SA filling shelves with random xmas gifts and told another SA he had to get it all out for tomorrow..!!!!!
Loads of ted baker, S and G, gok, fearne, botanics, various make up sets..shelves of stuff.....

I think it's time for a fresh list of clues! So far, we have been told by posters, who have friends that are SAs, that:

4. There definitely won't be a 75% sale this year

5. There definitely will be a 75% sale this year

6. Added - It's definitely Friday 14th
So, perhaps in true Miss Marple fashion, we can deduce that


1. Some stores will have sales tomorrow

2. Some will have sales on Friday

3. Some will have sales next Monday

4. Some will have a sale, but they don't know when

5. Some won't have a sale, no matter how much stock they have

They had barely anything when I was in there on Friday so something must be happening :D

I can't get on the Boots website now, when I enter my password and press return it just takes me back to the log in box, perhaps this is because us lot are all trying to have a peek for any clues as to if the sale is on tomorrow or not!! I can't believe how wound up I'm getting not knowing if it's on or off - how sad is that?!! I've got my list prepared of who I've got to buy for, I just want to get there now and stock up my basket!

There's about three half-isles of stock at the back of the store, by the doors near the Superdrug exit. Lots of drinking stuff - Bulmers, Smirnoff, etc, and TONS of Strictly, Gok and that red makeup box with the painting of the woman and pearls on the front that I can't remember the name of...

There's also a reasonable selection of Christmas stuff, like wrapping paper, crackers, etc.

Basically, loads of stuff for next Christmas if you've got a 13-16 year old girl in the family saying that though, there's a few quite nice bits for uncle so-and-so (laptop case comes to mind) and old fashionned sweeties. Not much for my lot, but you might find a few bits you can use

Well I believe my local Boots manager and I will be going there straight after school drop off. Shes not going to lie to me is she?! Its a really small local Boots and she'd lose face and possibly a customer from lying.

It is so tomorrow!!!!!

A friend of my mums told her last week that the 75% sale would not be starting until 25th January !! She is the assistant manager in our local boots too. Obviously this may have changed since then.
