I asked the manager of my local boots pharmacy (a medium sized village) and she at first said "its in the next few days" and I said "I'll take that to mean yes its tomorrow then since I read you change price plans on wednesdays" and she said "maybe" then "I'm not supposed to say but yes its tomorrow" and as I left "see you tomorrow then"

why do they keep !!!!!footing about - why can't they just be up front and say yes the 75% sale will be held on such and such a date - they are being so cagey and I find it annoying myself! Not even sure if there will be one in our store anyway - seems the staff have earmarked most of the leftover stock for themselves anyways.

Hi ive just been into my local boots and they are getting lots of stock out and rearranging the gift sets, i heard SA's talking about how cheap a set is going to be but they cant use their discounts.

I hope its tomorrow!

well dont know if i will bother going to store tomorrow, looked in 4 boots today and all of them had the same stuff, strictly, fearne and gok.. and majority of them i dont think are worth the 75% off price. as for toys, its slim pickings, and the same in all of the stores, basically its all the stuff that arent worth the half price, 75% would make them reasonable, but i'm not rushing to boots and being part of the carnage to bag a few reasonable priced items that i dont really need, not even worth it for gifts through the year

I think it's funny how Boots SA can never win if they say they don't know when the sale starts some people say they are not telling the truth or don't know what they are talking about.If they say they can't tell people the people still keep pushing .
The sale will start when it starts there is not much you can do about it.Also staff can only do their shopping before they start work or on their breaks they can not hold stock back because they would be sacked for it.
