i cant confirm if it is going ahead or not tomorrow BUT..............................
just been in my nearest store and the displays have been moved, all sale stock is more or less in one place (JUST LIKE LAST YEAR) with displays of toys (that were not visable on sunday when i went in there ) and Gok sets and loads of other bits and pieces.

Im going down first thing in the morning, i cant see them re arranging the shop floor today for a sale to start next week.

So the posters that say it's starting tomorrow i believe - if it's not then i will have had a trial run at getting there :rotfl::D

    GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.......................

Does anyone know what time Boots stores open? Am hoping to get to the flagship store on Oxford Street tomorrow morning :)

Go onto Boots site, select "Store Locator", and type in "Londonb". It will then show the opening times of all stores. HTH

But if you mean Sedley Place, Oxford Street store, I was there today, and there's only Gok, Fearne, Strictly and a few other bits and pieces.

Just rang HO and was told even they don't know (think only a few people at HO know) she said she was looking forward to it too and said to keep looking on website, that would tell us!!

Rang my local store and got the line many of you had about might not happen at all. I mentioned that a few other stores are having it tomorrow and she said well if it is on elsewhere then it will be on here tomorrow too!! :j
  • Neither Lakeside or Ilford have exciting displays (well they didn't on Saturday), but here's a little tip (but don't tell anyone else!) ;););)

If I store doesn't have an ACM, then they are classed as "small" and will probably send their stock to a larger branch. They might keep a few odds and ends, but not much.

In reply to all those who've said they don't want anything, or need anything, but will probably stay up tonight, and head to Boots tomorrow ......................... I know, I know, it's an incurable disease that I, too, am suffering from!!

  • So, if the sales staff don't know about the sale now, & it's due to start tomorrow morning (just suppose) - when will the point of sale go up? If I turn up to see the doors open at 8.30 tomorrow, might I be too early? What's the very first sign? Or what's the earliest opening time of any Boots anywhere - & can we get someone to stand outside it first thing tomorrow & send updates via their smartphone?
  • Thank you Sandrascarlett for the info on Lakeside and ilford!! Ooooh i don't know where to go now! i was banking on Ilford being good like last year... Hmm anyone know about Romford?

Y'all have convinced me, I think the sale will start tomorrow. Now if the weather will just be nice, or is that too much to ask for?

BTW, could anyone that plans to go to a store that opens early please report back asap if the sale is on? I guess we'll know if it's on online, though, but it would be lovely before to know if it's really a go in-store.
  • :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: well i am due to have my baby on sunday and have been saying the whole time that i will end up missing the sale cos i will probably go over lol, expecting it to be next wednesday, so i am now thinking if its tomorrow i will probably go early, but on the plus side if my waters break in boots tomorrow morning it will clear people out of the way so i will be able to scurry about and fill my baskets before the contractions start lol!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • If it starts instore tomorrow, will it be online tonight / in the early hours?

ie - if it's not online tomorrow morning, will that mean it's not on tomorrow in store?
