  • Ok I've done my preparation. If anyone is north birmingham keep reading. The new junction 9 store is not worth bothering with, it does have one shelf full but that is it. Fort and new oscott still have a few sets left but it is not worth the effort if you are going for toys as there are only a few left at the fort and none at the other 2 stores. Looks like I'm all up night then!
  • not everything - i haven't noticed perfume sets going down to 75% off before and quite a few of the toys stay at 50% - i got caught out with that 2 years ago

I got some pefume sets at 75% off last year.

Maybe I was lucky that everything in my favourites went down to 75% off

For those people planning on adding all items from their favourites list to their basket when sale goes live - I have just tried doing that but because some of the items are OOS, it comes up with a message saying that they have been unable to process my request. I had left OOS items in my favs in case they had some returns and they came back into stock - don't want to delete them because they don't always reappear back on the main site. Anyway, just a warning that if some of your items go OOS, it may stop you from being able to do a one-click basket.

Getting excited now! I was outside my local Boots at 7.55am last week just in case and the shop was deserted so hoping it will be the same tomorrow! I usually go to Watford Harlequin but was disappointed with the stock levels when I popped in a week or so ago so am going to try an out of town shopping centre instead. Fingers crossed its as quiet as last week!
I've been going to the 75% sale for a number of years now and buy most of the gifts I need for the year including teachers presents, stocking fillers and gifts for my DD's friends.
    Can't wait.

Just a thought - if there are any FCUK items in the sale instore, don't forget to grab the freebie if you spend more than £4 and see if it will go through. (I can't remember if it excludes gift sets/sale items or not so might be worth a try!)
