Boots 75% off sale - possible date

Hi does anyone know if i go online and add stuff to the basket but not pay for them, just leave them in there until the sale starts, would i get them at 50 or 75 per cent off?
I think it wouldn't make a difference as Boots will clear your basket before the sale goes live (as they did with the tote bags) to keep it fair for everyone.Comping wishlist for 2017

oh ok, thatnks for letting me know, would of been frustrating wasting my time then all being clear, but yes that is a much fairer way of doing things!0

I've just rung up Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port store and the assistant said "she believes the 75% sale had been cancelled"!! Surely that can't be right, well I hope not, it's ruined my January if it has!!0

I wouldn't be inclined to ask a sales assistant, it sounds like this year they have deliberately kept them in the dark so that customers are more likely to buy in the 50% off sale. Head office have confirmed there will definately be a sale, and someone said a store manager had confirmed that it is definately this Wednesday. The sales advisors will get a shock when they are finally toldComping wishlist for 2017

last year i had things in my basket on line and i stayed up for the sale to go live and all my things were still in the basket when it went live and i got on the site0

Yes last year they did but since then they have changed it so that everyone has a fair chance, and so that people bulk buying to sell on don't buy up all the stock.Comping wishlist for 2017

oh, ok thanks0 -
A friend of sil works for Boots and she told her they have been warned not to tell anyone when the 75% sale is starting. She won't even tell her and she told her she won't tell anyone, well apart from me who'll tell a few thousand others.0

As said, they will probably clear the baskets...
but there is nothing to stop you adding them all to your favourites so that you can pop them back into the basket easily!0 -
Probably a daft question, but once you add something to your favourites, how do you find it again please? xx0
