Hi guys.
I have a laptop which is two years old now, I had to reboot the whole system as it was running very slow and had a few software issues with it. The Laptop after a few days of running it has now asked me for the Licence code for windows which is at the bottom of the actual laptop but due to the the sticker being wore I cannot see the code.
My question is does this mean I will have to pay for a new code ? or is there some alternative way of me finding out my code?.
Also how much does a new licence cost ?.
Cheers guys

You can find your code using 'Produkey' program.

Neither of those will work. He hasn't entered his product key yet since reinstalling, which is why Windows is now asking for it now that the trial period has elapsed. You can find your code using 'Produkey' program.

OP, the product key should be on the CD sleeve or manual that came with the computer.poppy100 -

manufacturers usually only have one authenticity sticker and from experience if its on the laptop, then you wont find it anywhere else.
I tried to sell my netbook the other month, but because the sticker had rubbed off the bottom no one would take it.0 -
