Four weeks today until the fun starts, eeeeee! So excited!
Treehouse is at the Lodge on Loch Goil, not very MSE, but quite sanity-saving with the beautiful scenery. That, and we can only fit so many relatives in the tree. I'd post a link but I'm rubbish.
Vows, check. Rings, check. Dresses, check. Shoes, (unbelievably) check. Cheese for tower of deliciousness, check. Flowers, check. Emergency sexy thermals (it is the Highlands after all!), check.
This may be the first time I've worn a dress in public since I was five, bit scared. They tell me I have to wear makeup too. It sounds messy. Beginning to regret the monster meringue, but it'll give people a good laugh.
It's true, we are an odd bunch this month. Perhaps 'individual' makes it sound a bit better!

I can't believe we can say we're getting married this month! I'm scared/ excited/ nervous/ giddy!
I'm actually getting married on Friday (eeek!!!!) but my 'proper' wedding isn't until the 18th! To cut a long story short, it seemed like too much hassle to get the paperwork sorted to get married in the Dominican since everything had to be in Spanish, then translated back to English when we got home so we've gone for the easy option; 'Secret' registry office wedding on Friday with just our parents then a blessing/renewal of vows in the Dominican!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Your wedding sounds fab, mittenkitten. We were going to have skylanterns, too, but funnily enough with a treehouse there's always the risk that it'll catch fire
Instead we're sending biodegradeable floating lanterns out onto the loch just after the sun's gone down and we've warmed up with a mulled cider. Our photographer was dead pleased with the idea - any excuse to get her wellies out.
Anyone else having last minute organisational panic? One set of difficult parents and a belligerent uncle are making elopement a distinct possibiity.
25 days to go...:j:j:j0
