Ooooh yay for walls! Your proposal sounds very romantic! I love snow if I don't have to go anywhere in it, I think that Finland will be much better suited to dealing snow than Britain is! ;)

What are you wearing? I have images of you wearing one of these! :rotfl:

  • Wow are we late to the thread! We're two more February brides, marrying each other in a treehouse. Not quite as spectacular as a snowcastle, but still pretty neat.

Just five and a bit weeks to go...eeeeee!:j :j

Just 30 days for me! Ahhhhh I'm so excited!

I've only got 24 days to sort everything before we fly and that's a bit scary. I haven't got my ring yet (!!!!), I haven't a clue what's happening with my make-up, my hair trial is on Saturday and the hairdresser has to somehow figure what to do with my hair that will be easy for my Mum et al to recreate and will keep my hair looking good despite the fact that my hair goes really frizzy in humid climates!

We've got a party booked for 2 weeks after we get back and so far we have... the venue! I really need to get a crack on actually organising something or it could be a very dull party! :rotfl:

Welcome to the feb thread chefandyam! best of luck for you and your OH :o Treehouse sounds ace!

Birdie85 - I'm not sure whta to do with my hair; there isn't anyone there that can do it, so I'm thinking I might just get it cut before I go.

I also need to get my eyes tested as my glasses don't match my dress - all these stupid things you don't think of. :)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Love it! I did consider doing a Lady Gaga and getting a bright white snowsuit and shades, but I'm really short, so I'd end up looking like a marshmallow :) (Although that could have been cool - I could have had a little flat cap to match and OH could have gone dressed as one of the ghostbusters :D )

LOL @ the glasses! When I went with my SIL to pick out her BM dress my Mum and I both told her that she'd have to get new glasses or wear contacts because her glasses clash with the dress! Bridezilla, moi?! :rotfl:

Whereabouts is this treehouse chefandyam? It does sound pretty ace! We're an odd bunch this month; a beach, treehouse and an ice castle! Where is everyone else getting married?

Not bridezilla at all, it's just saving her from a style-fail :) cel x

Is it me --- or is it nearly the end of Jan :eek:

I had my confirmation from the venue yesterday, which came as a bit of a shock (they don't even take a deposit, they just bill it all close to the date)

OH and I are still trying to choose music... this isn't going well :rotfl::rotfl:

How is everyone else coping? :)

    Hi all!
I'm a feb girl too and so disorganised it's unreal! I don't even have a dress yet! Still I have 4.5 weeks to go so things are bound to come together aren't they?!
    Good luck everyone!

The music is an issue here too, we just can't settle on a first dance song, I can barely even get OH to talk about it!

I'm getting my wedding ring on Sunday, I just hope it doesn't need resizing because time is running out!

I'm sure everything will be fine pokey, but you might want to start dress shopping! ;)

    welcome to the thread pokey!

disorganised is fun! :D - I only just have a dress and but I haven't had time to alter it yet; so it still needs two darts under the bust, taking in by three inches round the waist and taking up by an undetermined amount (which will depend on the imaginary shoes I haven't settled on yet lol!) :rotfl::rotfl:

Music just sucks, we don't have to do the first dance thing luckily but still need to find two songs. I collect industrial heavy metal discography, so unfortunatly my knowledge of music stretches as far as very non-parent friendly lyrics. :rotfl::rotfl:

You'll be fine with the ring; resizing can be done really quickly. We bought ours in the jewellery quarter in birmingham and OH's needed resizing - he did it in under an hour. :o
