No offence, but i think this is stupid how you have to pay for 2 A4 envelopes, they are 40p each, so thats 80p, then 2 stamps (Large letter) 2x48p so........
Your really paying £1.68 for a measly car sticker!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

We would love people to get car stickers... but no one has to. The stickers are free, but logistically and expense wise, for us to post them out to people is a nightmare. It was also involve data protection as we would need to record people's addresses.
The car sticker is a fun way to support the site (and there's no need for two A4s, you can post the second a4 envelope within one of any size) and we'd welcome anyone who wants to get one. But please no body feel obliged.

Someone needs to learn how to:
a) Re-cycle envelopes
b) Join one of the many "money-from-nothing" clubs on MSE to save the cost of a FAB car sticker
c) Blimmin well chill out!0 -
My A4 sae is going in the post tomorrow but im not telling my fancyman yet so i get my sticker on my car first!! lol He likes to be the first to get everything but not this time! he spends more time on MSE than me anyway, no wonder my nice meals out have stopped, he's addicted to MSE! Is there a thread on here entitled 'MSE ruined my lovelife'? ha ha!0

Is there still Some left?? Because I would like one to show Aberdeen!!
first day as a member0 -
Somebody was looking at my car the other and I got a bit suspicious until I realised they were reading my MSE car sticker - they pointed it out to their friend as well....good stuff:p0

I saw one of these in my home town (Leighton Buzzard) the other day and my first thought was ":O I love MSE too, I want one"..but after a second or so's thought I really don't like the message it sends (especially as I work for a bank
).. I don't want to 'rob' anyone, I don't think banks are the enemy; I come here for tips on how to cut down on bills, get news of the best deals and tips to spend a little more intelligently etc ...I suppose the message is for shock value and it certainly catches the eye I just don't think it's a very positive message or representative of what this site is used for.
