Had extra flying time this morning as I had a Drs' appointment so didn't leave home as early as usual - so WM emptied and refilled twice, general tidy around, wiped down all (uncluttered!) work surfaces in the kitchen, washed up, packed cakes away, changed cloth on coffee table, more dog food in from the freezer, rubbish out ............... and left myself with a measly 5 minutes for a bath! So that means my remaining targets for tonight are to taking all the dried things off the airer and refill it, and dry up the pots. Oh, and I squeezed in a flying visit to Mr T as there's no DW powder in the house, and Mr L now only sells tablets.
The fact that at some point I need to make up the time I wasn't at work at some stage, may undo my good deeds at a later date.
Now, some advice please - if I'm allowed to ask for some here? I need some temporary (?) and therefore cheap storage for the various duvets, blankets, towels, pillows, dog bedding etc which are currently cluttering up the airing cupboard and the back bedroom. I was going to store them in "my" wardrobe - but then decided that as I already have kitchen equipment in there, and can't actually store all my shoes and clothing in there, this was a bit ridiculous. Hopefully some time soon (hmmmm, soon ....... could be next year) we will move into the big bedroom and have lots and lots of dedicated storage for these things. In the meantime, I do intend to have a rationalisation of what I have, but still need something to store the rest - but don't want anything too expensive as hopefully this will not be a long term solution. I saw some cheap (£2.50-ish) storage bags in Mr T's - was thinking I might pick up a few of those, but thought I would ask on here to see what ideas folks had generally. Better mention we have a few more duvets and so on lying around at the moment as two beds are upended whilst the big bedroom is 'sorted out'. (((sigh)))Work is not my Hobby0 -

ETA Mrs_B what about the vacuum storage bags for the duvets etc that are not in use - they take up less space and keep them clean - what about asking on freecycle/freegle for a wadrobe/cupboard that you couls use for extra stuff and then you could get the kitchen stuff out of your wardrobe:eek: Dunelm have the vacuum bags and other places too - they are quite cheap - or under bed storage bags/boxes work well for bedding etc thats not in use so often.Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Hello there,
I'm a long time lurker and really need to sign up to this site and follow the daily routines for level 1. I really hope I will keep it up and not be a 9 day wonder:(
My bathroom and loo need a good going over and I'm motivated to start level 1 right now. Sometimes it seems there's so much that it is not even worth starting.Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

WM x 2 on
TD x 1 on OH's jobs to get him moving again!
Cleared up after cat threw up! yuk
Kitchen floor done
Rubbish out
Finally sorted out all the post and junk mail, 2 bills paid, 1 left to find the money for.
OH has down graded himself to walking wounded with a 'few scratches', not my description at all, the local dr's nurse has told him to try to walk more, so he is going off to MK shopping centre to have a wander around, (I'm not happy about that, but it is closer to the hospital if anything happens to him) so I suppose he will be walking more and it is inside!! Thank you all for your best wishes.
Tonight, clean out fridge, and clean bathroom.
