It must have been a bad World Cup! I'm due my 2nd in just over 8 weeks so perfect time to stock up on size 1 nappies and a lifetime supply of baby wipes (you can never have too many!).

    Thank you OP.

At the last Asda event, they reduced all the big boxes of nappies down to a fiver on the afternoon of the last day...... :T Not sure if this was individual stores or all of them....

I've a loft full of nappies...:rotfl: wil come in handy as i'm due in four weeks

I dont really need anything (except cot and crib bedding) so will hang on and see whats left at the end again....

  • Has anyone had a leaflet yet? (I havnt :() I was wondering if the big SMA follow on milk was going to be available at Asda again, anyone know?

Not yet, but hopin postman brings it soon so I can decide whether to buy in asda or sainsburys. Will post if/when I receive the flyer. Couldn't find anything their website yet!

Some of the amounts people have bought before their little bundle arrives has made me chuckle. I wouldn't have the space to store that many nappies and wipes.

Hope you can see my pic Daisy lol That was 3 weeks before my daughter was due xx
  • Do you need to get there early to get the bargains or do they usually have a lot of stock? Just wondering whether to go to the 24 hour ASDA before work.

No the bargains are a plenty.
  • Fantastic! My twins are due to arrive in March (due 18th but section booked for the 7th) so will be very handy for stocking up on nappies.

Hi Bev, this is strange, I remember you from the M&B forums years ago!! Congratulations on the twins :j, how exciting for you!! I recognised your older kids names.

It was store specific, Rugby was still same price £11-12 even a few days after the event supposedly finished.

Ours was the same, no reduced nappies but they did cut price on the remainder of the other bits (feeding stuff, highchairs, gates etc) but it was luck of draw what was left!!

It was mainly things that had the baby event stickers. Don't think I'l risk waitin on the things I really want!:p
