figleaves usually has some vouchers going for %ages off and free delivery. but only go after you know what size you are (and that can be different for different manufacturers!). hopefully bravissimo will help (but i warn you, once you've tried on their clothes with proper room for boobs, it can be an expensive habit ;))

Another vote for Debenhams from me :T I had previously been fitted into a 40FF in Debehmas but their stock levels in that size were low, so i decided to visit M & S.

M & S had me in a 42E when i went to be measured. I queried it with the fitter when i explained it felt like the straps were falling off my shoulders. Her response was a blank look followed by *We don't do a FF cup like Debenhams*

    Cue me: exit store :D

Please definatly go and get fitted elsewhere - M & S had me in a 36E I was constantly uncomfortable and sore, on the spur of the moment in John lewis i had a fitting with out even a tape measure in hand the fitter told me that I was a 32FF I thought she was joking and was ready to leave there was no way that I was a 32, but I tried on the first bra she bought in (only cos i could not think of an excuse to leave in the middle of a fitting) I could not believe how comfortable it was - I could only afford to buy one bra at that time but the assistant didn't seem to mind. I now go regularly for fittings cos even if you don't think there is a change i reall don't ever want to be uncomfortable again. I mostly buy Freya as they have a really lovely range but I agree they can be expensive - try to start of with a couple of well fitting bras and add a new one when you can afford it - maybe suggest vouchers for birthdays. I just want to add that no one I tell believes my bra size they all tell me that I can't be that big - I alwasy think that its because I wear a bra that fits well

I would always rather spend more on a decent fitted bra, than on a new top, purely because having the right underwear gives a better shape. PLEASE get measured somewhere like Bravissimo - it will do your self esteem no end of good, and then as others have said track down the one that fitted you best online.

George at Asda go up to a G in lots of styles :) You can get bra and 2 knicker sets for £10 too.

Another vote for George at ASDA from me - they are cheap and cheerful but try before you buy as I've found the sizing slightly different to say M&S:D

Another vote for Debenhams here the bigger the store the better, M&S underwear seem to have have been steadily going down hill for a few years now but debenhams have a great selection at all the different price ranges. Bravissimo is also good, they have some lovely bras but they can be quite expensive.

Thankyou everyone. I'm just at my wits end with it! My boyfriend said that for christmas he went to buy me some nice undies (had a peek in my drawer!) but couldn't find anything he thought I would like. I'm gonna pop down to bravissimo after my lectures tomorrow and see what they say! You lovely ladies are the best :)
