Underwear for bigger busts?

Hey all, I'm 19 and have a fairly large chest (34FF in M&S). I had a breakdown when I went shopping the other day, all the bras in my size are horrible! To get plain black/white/nude I'm fine for shopping in M&S as I find them good quality and fairly cheap, but for something that bit nicer, I'm really struggling! La Senza bra's are cr*p and don't work for me, even when the supposedly trained "measurer" fits one, they just dont sit right! I'm a student so I struggle to afford Bravissimo and other such shops, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?! I just want something thats pretty, like the bras in Topshop, H&M and Next (which all only go to a D/DD cup!) Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you had a look at http://www.brastop.com/
It's always got some cheap bras.0 -
I'd be re measured NOT in M&S if I were you. They measured me as a 38F and I was really a 34H. Go to Bravissimo, get measured, try on some of their stuff, don't buy there but buy from ebay etc instead.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0

Don't buy from ebay unless you have already tries on that specific bra beforehand as not all brands have the same sizes ie some go E, F, G, H and others E, EE, F, FF etc and that's over and above differences between manufacturers that you normally get.
Simply Yours are not badly priced. If you are struggling the best thing to do is save up and buy in the sales. Cheap bras are often not the most supportive.0 -
Thanks, I'll go get measured in Bravissimo, see what they say then have a look on the net. I just want to be able to wear nice bra's that don't cost me a fortune! It gets quite annoying and upsetting when I'm out with friends, all getting changed, and everyone has nice pretty bras, and I just have a big old black/white bra because thats all I can afford and is all that fits!0

George at Asda go up to a G in lots of styles
You can get bra and 2 knicker sets for £10 too.

La Senza are not good for girls with busts.
I'd say go to bravissimo, get measured and buy one nice bra. Then see if you can find the same make and model on the internet cheaper. I don't think there's any substitute for trying bras on unfortunately, you might be a 34E in one and a 32F in another.
In terms of brand names, Fantasie are one of my favourites, they're reasonably pretty but also offer proper support.
Oh and always always wear an underwire!0 -
Definately get measured at Bravissimo. I am 32H but M&S told me I was 36F
Bravissimo sell lots of brands that can also be bought on Figleaves, Debenhams and several other places, including any independent High street shops.
I would suggst trying on a few at Bravissimo to get an idea for which brands you like (the same size in different brands will fit each person very differently as we are all different shapes as well as different sizes) and then google it to see if anywhere has offers on.
I personally prefer Panache bras as the other brands seem to be too wide for my shoulders and the straps keep falling down even though they fit properly!

I'm a 34g and like to wear pretty bras but also don't want to be spending £30+ per bra, I've found the Debenhams own range, Gorgeous, to be very good. Most bras cost between £14-£18 a pop and most have matching pants which are often free with the bra:j
I've also found the fitters in Debenhams to be pretty good, not pushy at all but very helpful.

Roadiegirl - I meant to say I know how frustrating it can be. I'm only 26 but the choice available is so much better than it used to be. I remember getting my first bras at school and the only thing in my size (from any shop - believe me I looked everywhere) was yellow or a horrible mint green. I had to wear vests over the top under my school shirts to stop the clour showing through!
I find that these days the colours are better so maybe just find some lovely knickers to match the colour of a not quite so lovely bra? Easier said than done I know, but don't despair, you will find something you like to suit your budget :-)0 -

I second that - M&S seem to only measure up to their own bra sizing- they had me as a 42D - the band was always halfway between my shoulder blades at the back so not much support at the front! I now wear a 36G (Bravissimo again) and it has made an enormous difference to my confidence. Try Figleaves as they do bigger cup sizes too.0
