Reformatted computer - no internet

Hope someone can help me with this. I have just reformatted my desktop as it was running really slowly. The reboot seemed to have gone Ok and I started to re-install the programmes which were previously on. However when I tried to go on the internet it wouldn't connect. I have had a quick look round the net and checked my device manager which is telling me that I have a problem with the drivers for the following :
Ethernet controller
Multimedia audio controller
Multimedia controller
Video controller (VGA compatible)

All of these have a yellow question mark next to them. The internet connection is showing no LAN details even though it is all set up correctly. I have tried looking on the medion website and downloaded the only network driver that was listed for my machine. Having installed it I am still having no luck.

I have a Medion Pentium 4 (about ten years old). My Medion serial number is 11045030020531. My router is showing all lights ready to go and I can connect to the net wirelessly through the router on my partners laptop (where I am now). Any ideas please for where i go from here.

go into device manager, find the instance id of the missing devices, and google them.

Sorry but I can't find anything that says instance id.

When I open device manager and click on "Ethernet controller" it doesn't show any details.

Ok. When I double click on the ethernet connections one it opens up the details. When I click on driver details a box pops up saying
"No driver files are required or have been loaded for this device"

You are clicking on the yellow question marks, then clicking the details tab? Is this the same for all missing devices?

When I click on the yellow question mark to open it up the tabs I get are different to what you are showing. i have "General" "Driver" and "Resources." I don't see the "details" tab where you are showing the instance id.

    http://www.medion.com/gb/service/download/driver.php?highmain=3&highsub=1

put your serial no. into the full text search and it brings up your drivers

I would update all the drivers from there
