:)sorry about this thread but ive been looking how to post and i just carnt figure it out? lol, :rotfl:,
What I wanted to post was just a quick question, my girlfriend has terrible credit rating and she wants to know if having a savings account would help her rating? shes just joined the electrol register and pay off her debt payments each monch as agreed by her debt collectors, but she will be paying these collectors for the next 3 years and her credit will be still very poor, any suggestion as to help her please? we want to get a house together but my credit rating is excellent and correct me if Im wrong but if she was to join the mortgage with me then wouldnt I be affected in my credit score? We both dont want this to happen so I tried to come here for help but I had no idea how to post??:rotfl:
So, I hope all the great posters out there could help our situation please? bottom line is my girlfriend wants to improve her credit (which is VERY poor), save money for our house and maybe not affect me? thanks for taking the time to read this, just one more thing if your replying to this please could you send it to me via private message? Id be able to find it better thats all haha:), Im rubbish on computers, thanks again!!

Well you have successfully posted!!
You might get more replies posting this on the debt board as they may have more advice for you although someone here may know the answer for you.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
I'd second the advice to try over here. To answer your first question, I don't think savings accounts affect credit rating, which is based on how much credit you have access to and how you manage your accounts. If you're trying to clear debts it's often best not to save and to reduce the debts faster by overpaying; this might depend on the arrangement with the debt collector though.0
