*whispers* Yes - lol don't want him to think he was right :rotfl: But yea it was all just so perfect and lovely and worth every minute of stress and hassle!!0 -
I think it looks lovely with the tables, it makes it look a bit more cosy (if you get what I mean).0

Emma - How annoying. It is cutting it all so fine especially when all it takes is a phonecall.
H2B's birthday today so tried to take a day off from wedding planning but it didn't work. we went for a picnic in the sun then came home and cracked on with the paper pom poms. They are all made and sat in bin liners waiting to be hung. Phew, all crafting is done! Finally.
Poor FMIL is back in hospital so thats a definite 'not going to make it' and with 5 days to go we had a telephone call yesterday from the FSIL to say they had an email from family friends in San Francisco who should be flying in wednesday saying they weren't coming after all . . . so bl00dy annoyed because they didn't email us. We have paid for the meals, drinks and they had hotel rooms booked. We emailed them 2 weeks ago to ask flight times in etc. They didn't reply at all and still haven't messaged us to date. So we are now 4 days guests down from our minimum amount required so have to pay for empty spaces
So i am feeling particularly bridezilla at the mo and my spoilt brat of a daughter is playing up again and i'm so mad with her i can't even talk to her . . . . so thats going to make for an interesting day!!0 -
Oh Mel - is there no last minute 'upgrades' you could make? xx0

The sun came out BLAZING for us! The whole day went off without a hitch. Well, my dress caught fire (in a relatively minor way with no injuries), my contact lens shattered in my eye and my son decided to roll in the mud in his suit, but they were all laugh-off-able little things. Oh my goodness it was AMAZING. I'll write more when it's not quarter to two in the morning!I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.0

:rotfl: Sounds like a very eventful day!!0

Looking forward to GL wedding story!!
I can't believe that with just days to go I am sleeping so well. I haven't slept for weeks and now I'm having my full 8 hours.
I'm trying desperatly hard for my daughter/BM not to get me but I'm failing. So to try and eliminate my own heartache I have decided she won't get ready with me and travel in with me either. She can go on the bus with the guests. My son will take her to the hotel with him and she can get ready there.
The sun is very much shining here so I am going to make a start on the honeymoon packing today. Today is my last day with no running around. From tomorrow it's all systems go for Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
Make the most of the peace Mel0

So that's it then - I've just gone and ordered a dress box to keep her safe. Next job - get her to the dry cleaners. Trying to phone the one in town to check they can do it, and then I'll drop it off this afternoon (when I go and collect CD number 2 from our photographer) and collect it after our honeymoon. Feeling a little bit sad!!0
