Lovely dress and fab shoes!
Had a lush relaxing kind of day. Lunch out with H2B and an afternoon watching a film. I would normally be sat worshipping the sun but I can't afford the tan lines!
Off to collect chair covers, wedding cake and choose the flowers from the wholesaler tomorrow. Been looking forward to the next few days for months now!! Yippee, nearly my wedding day.0 -
I'm a little bit gutted that I'm going off on honeymoon before you're all married!!
I'll update the number of sleeps tomorrow night but then someone else will have to take over from me

2 days left . . . It feels surreal. Should I be bouncing with excitement? I was a week ago but now I'm all calm and just merrily ticking things off the list.
Off to the wholesalers today to buy all the flowers, collect the chair covers and pick up cake from M&S. Happy days0 -
I have to admit I was feeling really flat in the run up to the wedding. (Not helped by everyone asking if I was excited). I did get excited the night before, and to a lesser extent on the morning of the wedding, but it really hit me when I entered the ceremony room. I think there is no right or wrong way to feel.
Enjoy the calmness, definitely beats being a panickymoo!
Ooo lots of wedding jobs for you to do today!!
JEALOUS!!

Couldn't get the flowers I really wanted
hydrangeas are coming to the end of season now so they only had 2 lots. It won't be enough for all the tables so got pink gyp to fill it out. Cost half the florists charge thou so it'll do fine.
Wedding cake is sat in the garage (coolest place) and I have attached my ribbon too. So just need to get a bit more packing done but I've run out of space to put everything.0 -
3 sleeps to go- Im so excited!!
Eyebrows have been waxed and eyelashes tinted so thats another thing done. Have got the last few bits for honeymoon aswell. My Mum is picking my dress up tomorrow at 6, so Im going to take it upstairs and get my sister to help me into it so I can make sure Im happy with it- this will be whilst about 18 members of the family stay downstairs as we are having a girlie night at my mums tomorrow!!
Some items Ive ordered as gifts will be ready tomorrow so Ill go and get those, and we have to take everything to the venue on Friday- and thats about it!! Oh and we have to put all the sweets in tubs on Friday.
Im having a few  moments but Im just trying to let them go over my head and not annoy me too much!!
Thats a shame about your flowers Mel, Im sure they will look fab though.0 -
Sorry about my incomplete message yesterday! I was on my phone and it had a mind of its own
So I had a bit of an eyelash related crisis yesterday! I had some silk eyelash extensions put in, and the therapist didn't really give me much chance for an input (I probably should've been more pushy though) and chose the medium length non-curly individual lashes for me... so I didn't like it when it was donethey didn't look very natural (especially near the outer edges) but still looked really straight so didn't enhance my eyes at all!
It was the worst of both worlds as with the extensions in, I wouldn't be able to use mascara on them so basically my eyes would've looked smaller than they would had I not got the extensions done.
Oh the therapist refused to trim the extensions when I complained that they were too long - she said "they aren't too long, they are only medium"
Anyway after walking around town after it for 2 hours, i decided that I really couldn't cope with this so had to get them removed! now at least I can use some mascara to make me feel better!
Alright, rant over, thanks for bearing with me! (do you think the wedding nerves are getting to me?:o)
On a brighter note, I did the sweets jars for the centrepieces! will upload photos shortly x0 -
How do I upload images??0
-
Alice - our upload gurus are in honeymoon! I use photobucket for mine and then copy and paste the link. Nightmare with the lashes. At least it wasn't the wedding morning!!
Well I can finally say "I'm getting married tomorrow"!!!!! WOW.
Just had gel overlay nails done, full pedicure and paint and a brow tidy. Going for lunch with my fianc! then off to decorate the venue. ( ps H2B feels sick with nerves and excitement!!! ) I'm feel excited but very much on top of everything. Preparation and organisation has paid off.0
