Hi all

Have been quite busy with wedding bits. Can't remember the last time i was on so i am really if i am repeating myself!
Had my dress fitting
Had my hair trial
Bridesmaids and mum had their hair trial
Had suit fitting

Going out for a drink with my dad and parter and OH mum and dad at the weekend so they can get to know each other.

Have started to make a list of questions we need to ask at the hotel next Friday.

umm Sitll got so much to do tho!! ahhhh:eek:

Well as Im on a roll Ive told oh we are sorting out best man and flowergirl presents tonight! Oh has now decided he wants to get best man a pewter tankard so i will show him a few then he can pick one and decide what he wants engraved on it!!

I feel like things are coming together quite nicely now. I did a table plan the other day, using round tables and it worked out well, so I think we are back to that now!! We will also be on a round table, with my sister (chief bridesmaid), her boyfriend, best man and then 3 really friends, which I think will be really nice, and I wouldnt want a completely seperate top table as I would feel watched, plus I think the round one will be more sociable!

We decided to go for round tables for the same reasons, I used to work in hospitality and did loads of weddings and it is really exposed if you have a top table. And like you say it's harder to talk to people!

I've done nothing of note today, just went for a walk round the local park and saw lots of baby swans and geese, awww! Thats all though lol.

I get married in just over 7 weeks but finish in 6 Not totally sorted, still have favours to make, seating plan, final supplier meeting ( inc meal tasting - yum ), final dress fitting and all little things. Glad im off the week before!

I've come to join you all if that's alright!!!

I'm getting married on the 28th July at 1:30 :eek:

I've only known about the wedding a couple of weeks as it was a birthday suprise by my lovely partner! we've been together for 8 years and have a beautiful 6 year old daughter together.

Last night I finally secured a reception venue! yay!!

Can't wait to talk to you all as I'm a complete wedding amature lol! so reading your ideas and tips will be so helpful for me!

Welcome Bellrooster. What a fab birthday surprise.

We are at varying degrees on the organisational scale. I think i am about midway. Some (mainly MrsDrink) are way up there!

I feel like i am having a hugely productive week. Its like a huge wave of wedding reality has hit me. So during half term week i have appointments with the wedding coordinator at the register office, first dress fitting, appointment at the venue to talk numbers, menu and drinks and i have booked a trial spray tan. I have never had one before i am trying sienna-x. My bestest is getting married on June 4th so i'm having it done for that and then IF i like it i'll have it done for mine. It should last a good week so fingers crossed i don't come out orange.
