Yep I did mean Kylie lol. Kyle was close enough! :) I didn't mean she has worn one - just that I could imagine her wearing one. :)
Birdcage veils always make me think of Reece Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama. :) (Not necessarily a bad thing).

Well I've had a nap - MrD is home, will give him some peace and quiet but soon I want to be thinking about cooking tea else I just won't be arsed.

Oooh, you made me think of this, drooool:

Wanchai- I have no idea how your going to decide on a dress- they are all so stunning. I think once you have chosen your dress you will then get an idea on the type of veil (if any) to go for.

Someone was eating a cake at work the other day saying 'yum' and waving it under my nose and I said 'no, im now giving it, I will be a skinny bride'!!:rotfl:And I did manage to resist! I so hope Ive lost 1lb this week!

Repeat with me 'we will be skinny brides, we will be skinny brides, we will be skinny brides'!! :rotfl:

    Good for you!!!!! :T

I have no idea how I'm going to decide either :rotfl:

I also love the David Fielden 4629 Wallis dress with tulle skirt, and Jenny Packham Eden...but at £2,000+ each they are too expensive! :o

Good morning fellow July brides :) (We really need to get some grooms on here!! Wonder what happened to Dave).

So here's another day of being good :) I have today's food planned out: breakfast same old, lunch pilchards on toast (one oily fish portion for the week), tea chicken wrapped in prosciutto ham with dry roasted veggies.
My jobs for today: Get loads of washing done - how come there is only two of us yet we go through so many clothes in the week?! Spring clean the lounge. Start wrapping Christmas pressies :D (Am hoping that two of MrD's pressies will arrive today while he's at work).

Wedding wise - nothing - not a sausage. I might try my shoes on lol.

Oh I don't think I've told you lot - I got my PADI diving certification card through the post the other day :) And it's in my married name :D :T!

:T one of MrD's pressies has arrived. It's bike related (knee sliders) so when I placed the order I asked the company to send it in discrete packaging - so he wouldn't have a clue what I've got him - anyway lol they did.... they sent it in a box of Special K! Ha!! :) There was also no 'senders' address or anything on it. I needed have worried cause MrD is at work today but I'm very impressed and have sent them an email thanking them.

Jobs: I have got one load of washing in as I type. I've tidied, and polished one half of the lounge - just got Bun's areas to sort out, the TV stand and dvds to organise, and my 'Christmas table' to sort out. Then a massive hoover session (under the sofas and everything lol). (I call it the Christmas table because it's where I place the wrapped pressies - cause obviously we can't put them under the tree any more else Bun would eat them lol).

Sat singing along to Wherever you will Go by Charlene Soria (original by The Calling) - love it! And Rhianna's We Found Love. :)

Morning (afternoon) MrsDrink! Yay for your PADI cert in your married name, how exciting!!!!

I am totally determined to lose weight now; I woke up this morning and thought 'right, that's it'. Really fed up of feeling fat in wedding dresses. A friend is doing the Cambridge Diet so I am going to look into that.

Nowt wedding related on today - just sitting looking at ideas for hymns and readings with my mum. Anyone able to recommend nice hymns or classical music for weddings? xxx

p.s. mum loves the shoe stickers idea, yay!

  • Hey everyone!!

Im back from the gym, Im feeling quite positive about being good at the mo, and am keen to tone up (probably more so than losing loads of weight). I am hoping I havelost 1lb on Monday morning!

:jAt your certificate being in your married name. Thats really good of the company to do that with the present for MrD.

I think I am going to have a classical piece I have found for walking in and we have set best man (ohs brother) the task of making us a synth based electro sounding Wedding march for signing the register and leaving the ceremony, he is quite busy at the mo preparing to go on tour but Im hoping he find time between now and then!

Well that is the lounge spring cleaned (apart from the windows - they can wait until actual Spring lol). And I've got all the pressies bought so far wrapped up - they are looking fab and festive even if I do say so myself. Have run out of curling ribbon though so will have to order some more. (I don't usually bother with faffy bits like that but the pack of wrapping paper I bought had some included - so now everyone's must have some on lol).

I have just tried on my wedding ring again - aaaaaaah. I want to be married now! *stamps her feet* lol.

I had a very naughty sneaky peek at the weighing scales this morning. I was only 0.5lb above last Monday's weigh in so hopefully if I'm an angel for the rest of the weekend I can shift that and have a stay the same this week.

PS I hate the smell of polish!

Oh I have sorted out the travel insurance for our honeymoon - done it this early incase Thomas Cook go under. Lol stupid me - I put it in my maiden name! D'oh! So I had to phone them up 45 mins after ordering it and seeing if they could change it for me. :) Luckily they did and I didn't have to pay any stupid admin fees.
