I've had a few others too - in one of them all the men were missing from the ceremony (including my Dad and the Groom) because they were watching the football so we had to postpone! :rotfl:
    Xx

I know it's just a dream in your case, but I actually originally wanted to get married on July 1st because thats the day of the Euro 2012 final and I thought it'd be good to have the football on after the ceremony to stop it being so boring and fill the gap between the ceremony and the evening do! Couldn't because I'll still be at work then :(

:) I think we've talked about the stickers before... I do like them - but the obsessive in me doesn't like the fact they aren't the right font for me. If I was having them I'd want them to be the same font as my invites - I know I know noone is sad enough to notice - lol but I would. There are other options - if you stick 'letter decals' into google you can get them in whatever size, font, colour you want (okay they won't be sparkly like the ones above but at least they'd be the right font). At one place I found (I didn't do an extensive search) I could get 3 letters (I do) in burgundy, gothic centry, 5cm tall for £1.20 including postage.

I completely forgot I meant to have a go at making some of these on the vinyl cutter at work! I won't have them though because I'd be worried about them being too sticky on the shoes, I'm sure they wouldn't but I hate those sticky patches from labels and spend hours scrubbing them off :rotfl:

Hope everyone is ok anyway, I've not done anything else new I really should get started on some decision making to be honest. OH keeps banging on about choosing songs and stuff but I can't be arsed to dig out the file and find the password for the DJ stuff!

I do still like my wedding ring though - SHOWING OFF PHOTO for the newbies :D We are off to buy OH's at some point soon using the goldsmiths vouchers while you get extra value! He did have a look not so long back and I think he is going to go for palladium as it's quite hardwearing. I did have a little mini private jealousy strop when I looked at the price (£400) but then I figured that I have 2 rings at about £300 in total so it's not that bad!

Right off to the gym - I'm being good!!

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

Cannot wait to wear it properly!
  • I told oh when he got my engagement ring (£300) that my rings from then on would be cheaper, but my wedding ring (£379) is more than my engagement ring, and after looking at 18k wishbone shaped eternity rings it seems they are a lot more!! So I think my wish for an eternity ring will be just a wish for a few years yet! Oh gets a £40 wedding ring!!:D

How is everyones healthy eating/ being good going this week? Im doing ok, have had a few naughty treats, like ive just had a bag of nik naks, but overall I have been doing well, and have been eating much better food while im at work, and have been eating smaller portions at home.

Oh and Wanchai - I do hope you're feeling better soon. I have to remind myself that even though we are getting married, and love each other very much, that we are both still human beings and therefore are allowed to have disagreements without it meaning the end of the world. (I'm cringing slightly while I'm writing this - remembering LauraR's sad news). MrD and I carry on the same old 'us' as before we got engaged. We clearly love each other, but we're most certainly not all doey eyed and day dreamy. We still rub each other up the wrong way, we still go to bed in a grump (this is the one thing I would change about him if I could - it drives me insane), and we do still have misunderstandings, but we still love each other. x
  • I cant decide whether to get a veil- is anyone else having one- definately not having one??
