Let's encourage each other with the weight loss.

:) I'm up for that as well. My weigh in day is on Mondays - so I will let you all know how I do. And you all have permission to shout at me if I am 'naughty' or am tempted to be 'naughty' :)

I'm sat here planning Christmas pressies. I got over paid this month which means next month they are (probably) going to cut my pay by a little bit to make up for it. So rather than using November's pay to pay for Christmas I should be using October's instead. So far I have my brothers and their families sorted. I have my mum done, and a few little bits and bobs for MrD. I don't know what his main gift will be this year - I don't know if he would like a dive computer or whether that is what I want him to have lol. Then there is just his side to sort out... every year I tell him he has to sort them out... every year I end up doing it lol.

I cannot wait till I can try my dress on - she said it will probably be ready in February (I need to lose at least 10lbs by then so I'll be back to the measurements I was when I placed the order). Then I can see if my shoes and necklace go with it or not. :)
  • Wanchai- im up for encouraging each other- i am having a curry for dinner tonight then i will be good from tomorrow. Im getting back into the gym aswell, so that will help me.

Wanchai- It would be such a bargain- and from the online pictures it looks so gorgeous.

Wanchai- Im having 3 pink roses and long grass in a tall lilly vase with pink ribbon. I love the roses weve picked, they are artifical but look lovely.

Right, let's all weigh in on Mondays (starting tomorrow!) and confess/brag on here. :D

I'm doing very little Christmas shopping this year, combination of too little time and money!!! :)

Ooooh, only 3 months till you get your dress!!! :j

    Your centrepieces sound beautiful. :)

I had free postcards in my Vistaprint cart last night, went back to order them this morning and they are now £10.49!!!! !!!!!!! Should I just leave them there and wait for another free postcard offer? Or does anyone have a link to the free ones so I can start over?

I am currently addicted to Vistaprint :rotfl:

  • Wanchai, I found sometimes going in and out the cart a few times seemed to effect the prices. Or if you have an email link you could go in through that and they should show as free, you may just need to make them up again. The website is showing them as free so you may just need to re do them using there links for the free ones.!!

I have been good and did drag myself to the gym today!! Cool, we can start our monday weigh in and encouragement from tomorrow

Just got back from 'bonfire night' at the in-laws-to-be. It was a great night. I was a very good girl - I just had 2 jacket spuds (one small one normal sized) with 6 dessert spoons of chilli con carni. I didn't have any cheese. I didn't have any hot dogs. I didn't eat any of the cupcakes (that I'd help to ice and decorate). And I didn't have any of the mars bar cake. :) Fingers crossed I've lost a pound tomorrow! (That will be a pound despite having a dominos pepperoni pizza, chicken strippers combo and cookies... lol I could only get away with that on my 'week 1').

It was a really good evening - there was around 60-70 people there in total, and it confirmed to me that we're not out of our minds thinking we can cater for 50 people in our gardens/house. Yes it'll be cosy but it's doable. It also made me realise that if you're catering for people everything needs to be out on display - other wise people will be restrained thinking there isn't enough to go round. (There was loads of cupcakes left where she hadn't had room to display them all).

I really can't wait till our wedding :)

    It is 253 days, 15 hours, 36 minutes, 1 second until Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 2:00

Eeeek nearly under 250 days! :D
  • I had a jacket spud and chilli for dinner aswell, but I was naughty and had a bit of cheese! I still think is good though seeing as Im not officially starting to be good until tomorrow, and originally we were going to have takeaway curry!! U did so well to resist all the goodies.

I started my Xmas shopping on Saturday!! Woohoo . . . it was totally unintended but when i rolled up at my local shopping centre to find it covered in twinkle xmas lights and reindeers i practically exploded with excitement! :snow_laug So I brought a couple of stocking things for the teens.

I managed to escape from house yesterday (having huuuuge problems with my 16 year old!) and went a gorgeous wedding fayre at Burghley House in Stamford. H2B has fallen in love with a red double decker bus to take our guests and us to the register office and then back to the venue. It was fabulously decorated and would make stunning photos for us and our guests but its a cost issue. We have decided if nearer the time nothing nasty has happened to drain our funds we might splurge on the bus. So fingers crossed!!

I will join the weekly weigh in as Monday is my day anyway. I don't think i can count todays weight though as i have been off plan however after fights and a lot of tears all day yesterday i only managed to consume a poach egg on toast and a chicken salad sandwich all day! Needless to say the scales have weighed me 3lb lighter this morning . I'm sure thats a water thing not a weight thing so I don't think i can count it. I have a Xmas party in 5 weeks so ideally a pound a week from now on would be great. Note to self - must stay clear of all mince pies!

Oooh, the bus sounds fab!!! I really want a VW camper van but they are sooo expensive, am going to try to get one cheaper or else just give up on the idea. How much is the bus, out of curiosity? xx

p.s. big hugs to you, hope things improve at home :)

  • Melanie- hope things get better at home- werent you saying the other days boys were less of a handful than gilrs or something similar!!:D I would love to start my christmas shopping now but just dont have any pennies! I have got a couple of small presents for my friends 2 kids but thats about it!

Day one of being good is going ok so far- Im currently eating some very odd tasty soup I got, its spicy sweetcorn- but I keep telling myself its low in cals and will fill me up!!:rotfl:

Ive just seen a necklace I think its just right to go with my tiara, im going to go in with my tiara tomorrow and see how it looks. Its difficult cos I want something to match my tiara but not take the attention away from the tiara- as its so pretty!!

A bus would be so cool! And I love the weddinging camper vans. What are people doing about getting bridesmaids to the ceremony? I cant afford an extra car so was thinking me and my step dad could go down in the merc we have hired and my 2 bridesmaid and my mum could go down in my sisters car, its a fiat 500 convertible driven by her boyfriend- its cream so I was thinking with some ribbons it would look quite cool, I would just need to double check fil2b would have room in his taxi for my step dad to go back to reception- oh and Im thinking flower girl can just go down with my sister (the one who isnt bridesmaid)- do you think this would be ok? the bridesmaids dont have to be in a weddinging car do they???
