Absolutely - don't lose too much weight
You wouldn't want your dresses to not fit you any more!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. dress Laura. i have been waiting all day to hear from you on here and a bonus photo too! I had another peep at my dress today . . . i cant help it!! I have decided today that i have to lose 1 whole stone before i'm allowed to try it on again. That should keep me on the straight and narrow and a nice incentive.0

I would like to lost a stone then ill try it and thats what ill get it altered to. i think with it been a lace back it wont be to bad. it needs altering about an inch under each arm at the top as it gapes quite alot where my bust pushes it out. but once it has halterneck that will pull it in too! i cant wait its just so pretty and perfect!0

I really like the button thing and even better it won't attract any bugs!
Are you having just cream or are you putting some colours in there too?
I think i'll stick to cream with the odd sparkly brooch in mine and then i'm planning on making a coloured one for my bridesmaid to match her dress.
I haven't chosen her dress yet and i would like a coffee colour so i can have a coffee and cream day! That way the men can have brown button 'buttonholes'. I plan on making those too.0 -

Hey- just a very quick post as im a running late already for work and I need to stop off and get petrol!! (emma is feeling so unmotivated today!!)
Just wanted to say stunnng dress LauraR- looks lovely on. and what a bargain. If you know the type of hoop/ petticoat you need I would keep an eye out on ebay. I know Jupon is a known brand so it may be worth looking on their site and getting an idea of the numberyou need then searching ebay. (I probably paid about the same price for a 2nd hand jupon as my friend paid for a new unbranded one from China- but hers was made out of netting and what looked liked a plastic shower curtain!!!)
I will come back on and comment properly at lunchtime. Have a lovely day everyone!!0 -
it is a jupon one and she wrote the number on my reciept as she didnt have one in stock so i just said id order it later! i was just about to go look in ebay after i have had a catch up on here. x0
