Sim only contract

Hi, My daughter has an LG Cookie, and i'm looking for the best deal for unlimited texts on a sim only contract. I know absolutely nothing about these, do i go into a shop and get one, or do i order online? She's only 11, but texts her friends far too much on a pay as you go and i'm looking to reduce the cost to £10.00m a month or less if possible, hoping someone can help.!!

T-mobile fixed sim only 15 pm 600 mins and unlimited texts (although there are cheaper plans if you daughter doesn't need too many minutes) - if she reaches her limit then to use the phone she will have to top up.
Using my phone to post - apologies in advance for any typos

Giffgaff do £5 per month goodybag for unlimited texts or £10 per month 150mins/utd texts/utd internet. It is not contract either just monthly bundles you can change anytime. They run on the o2 network-not sure which network your phone is on now?

depending what PAYG deal she is currently on, there may be a (cheaper) way to get unlimited texts through that.

Orange, for example, offer unlimited texts for a month for £5 (simply text TEXTS 5 to 6620 to buy an unlimited text extra).
T-mobile, for example, offer unlimited texts provided a £10 top up is made each month.
Other networks have similar schemes, but you'll usually need to "opt in".

The advantage with staying PAYG is there is no risk of running up a huge bill, albeit accidentally.

In terms of contract SIMs though, £6/month gets 100 minutes and unlimited texts on T-mobile if you buy via http://www.chitterchatter.co.uk/sim_only_plan.php

She's on Orange pay as you go, do we just go into an orange shop or do other places do deals compatible?

Some valid points mentioned above to consider first....
If her LG cookie is unlocked/sim-free, then youre free to shop around for all the available offers regardless of network etc.
If it is locked to Orange, then you can either choose an offer from Orange or get the phone unlocked, which will cost around £10 (a one-off payment)
The best deals at the moment have both been mentioned above...

On Orange - suggestion from Stuart-W....

On another network - suggestion from my definition (£10 per month sim only)....
