When the people with rock post Fridays word, do those without Rock need to guess Saturdays word?

I tried with rock and a random word got the message about needing Saturdays paper.
Tried with 6 known word plus two random and got the message about needing 8 valid codes
So those that have rock have priority over those of us w/o it!!0 -
