I have only booked a sun hol once and the accommodation was horrible. I am really dubious about booking again as I don't want it to happen again. Are there any park brands that have the best standards ie haven etc??

We're hoping to go 4 nights to one of the Park Resorts parks on the Isle of Wight, preferably in June/July.
And if it is possible to do it, a £9.50 long weekend in May to the Chichester area :)

I like Church Farm , Pagham, have you looked at that one for near Chichester, If not you'll have to ask Ryan if he could put you up maybe?! ;)

We've had 3 previous Sun Holidays, the first 2 at Parkdean (Newquay then Southerness), both had absolutely perfect accomodation (and we don't pay for luxury as we take the dogs and they are only allowed in standard/plus caravans) ... last year we went to Haven (Haggerston Castle) and the accomodation was nowhere near perfect but it was clean and acceptable. We're going to Haven again this year simply because Parkdean don't have parks in North Wales.

I've been 5 the first was years ago and not very nice. A small private site. The other times i've been with park holidays and haven, both good, haven the better of the two. Last year I went to pontins, not good-never heard a good word about pontins TBH.

I looked for Park Resorts on Isle of Wight but then looked on Trip Advisor and looked again for an alternative camp

Double check Trip Advisor for anywhere :o

We did Nodes Point last year and enjoyed it. We upgraded to Silver and we were positioned right on the edge of the park by the camp site, a few seconds walk from the beach. But when we go to the IOW we only really use our accommodation as a base camp.
Will double check trip advisor anyway, just in case!

What places are you looking at instead, still on the IOW?
  • has anyone been to sicily on one of these holidays

By booking online do you find out straight away if you have your choce or do you still have to wait.
